Associates AND Practice Owners

One of the most important things a dental associate can do is build their personal brand. And I’m NOT talking about Instagram or TikTok.

83% of Americans use online reviews when evaluating a dentist. Of those surveyed, 85% rely on Google reviews and 37% use Yelp.

As an associate, you should be actively building your reputation through the reviews patients leave at the practice where you work.

When patients consistently mention YOU by name in 5 star reviews, you’re building credibility that goes beyond the practice itself.

Whether you eventually buy a practice, open your own, or move to another office, having hundreds of patients publicly praising your work is far more valuable than having thousands of Instagram followers who will never sit in your chair.

And if you’re a practice owner, this is something you NEED to stress to your associates.

Your associates building their personal brands isn’t competition with your practice. It’s an asset to your practice.

Your personal brand isn’t just what you say about yourself. It’s what your patients say about you.
